About The Falcon Inn
About The Falcon Inn

This former coaching inn has almost 200 years of history and has long been a regular port of call for travellers along the Scarborough to Whitby road.

It has been a pub since at least the beginning of the last century and prior to this it was a shooting lodge for the then Lord Derwent.

As a 19th century coaching inn, it marked the changeover point for horses making the journey between Scarborough and Whitby. Today, The Falcon Inn still continues to provides a resting place for travellers.

Situated in the beautiful North York Moors National Park, now the Inns facilities include 2 fully equipped conference and banqueting rooms catering for 30-40 delegates. Specialising in superb Great British pub cuisine, food is served daily from 12pm in the main bar. The grounds host 5 acres of award-winning forestry with tracks and public footpaths surrounding the pub in almost every direction.
